07:44 pm - Nostalgia I honestly have no clue what to say here. How does one even begin after a three year absence? It's a surreal thing looking at this Post an Entry screen. I spent nearly a year staring at the exact same screen writing about whatever whimsical thing came to mind, or to record an especially interesting day I might have had. This journal played a big part in my life, and I can't believe I stopped writing in it.
No, I am not so delusional that I think my absence was a great travesty at all, but this journal was more for me than anyone else. This is where I made my memories remain clear and concise to this very day. Reading my entries from three years ago is such a fantastic experience. I can't believe how young I was then. I've grown up so much in three years.I've actually been on livejournal throughout the past few years, but mainly for communities to get my next music fix. I never actually took the time to read or acknowledge that I had a journal sitting here at all.
I am here today to rectify that blunder. No longer will this journal go to waste. I've been going through my past a lot lately, and I really like when I have things to help keep it fresh in my head. I want to experience the same joy I felt today reading about my summer in Grade 9 two years from now, but with more recent additions. I want to look back on my past and smile.
I'm done with the younger version of updating this journal though. I am not talking to whoever reads this. These entries are not stories, and this journal is not a person. There will be no "Dear Diary," shit in here. I will just use this to post clear, thorough, and accurate depictions of events in my life. I mean it won't be as mundane and boring as a point form recollection of my day, but it won't be filled with jokes to make you laugh or anything like that.
Ah screw it! It's nigh impossible to not refer to this journal as a person, or to refer to an imaginary reader in posts. I'm too stubborn to change my previous statement, but I'll happily just be hypocritical for all to see.
Since you're a journal and not my best friend, no I am not going to fill you in on the past three years of my life. Guess or something. I mean sure you might piece things together disjointedly through different posts I'll make, but I could write ten books on the past three years of my life.
Forget the past, this is a whole new thing starting now.
Oh and another reason I want to start this journal back up, is I haven't had English class since the beginning of the year and my writing has gotten worse than ever. It's choppy, too wordy, or just utter shit. It's enough to get by, but little more. I want to work on that, and this seems like a good medium.

06:11 pm - Everything is beautiful at the ballet.... Except for Phantom of the Opera. Dear god, it wasn't the show, but an "interpretation" of the show done through ballet. The only good part was seeing over 50 maturely dressed 15 year old girls looking very disappointed. I did get to meet a few nice fans though and got to talk broadway with them at intermission.
Just in case anyone hasn't already seen this: www.broadway.com/gen/Buzz_Video.aspx?ci=538599 It looks absolutely amazing and I seriously can't wait for the cast recording to come out in December.
Oh and if anyone knows how to rip the audio from that video into an ipod format, or how to rip the video from the site could you explain/do it? I'd love you forever because that song is so damn catchy.

03:32 pm - Phantom tonight This isn't really an update, but yesterday was fucking amazing! Rehearsal went great and after that Brock, and Aric slept over and we all had a blast.
Little Story:
Yesterday after school I was walking by the Imperial and I noticed that the Atlantic production of Phantom of the Opera was playing Saturday Night at 8. Not being the biggest fan, but excited to see the Imperial being used for musicals rather than "Live-Action Dora the explorer" I decided I had to go see it.
Then after realizing that there was no way in hell I could convince anyone to go, I just gave up on it. Then like ten minutes ago my mom mentions she's going to see it tonight with my grandmother and that she has an extra ticket for me or my brother, and now I'm actually going to see it!
Not sure what to expect, I'm not the biggest fan but it's an all Canadian cast so it can't be all bad ;D.

03:45 pm - Camping Today I'm heading back up to some campground, to camp with the same two families I did last time. Except now I won't have the company of Erica or Becca, making me the oldest kid by five years.
I'm actually dreading this trip because of past experiences up there *shudders*. Hopefully this time will be different.
My parents also have this sick idea to leave me up there at the camp the last week before school starts without them, just so they can have the house to themselves for a week.
Not only would I be at a camp with two families I hardly know alone. I'd have nothing but little kids to hang out with. There was a time when that didn't sound bad, but these kids are fucking nuts and I'm scared to be near them.
In other news... I was just listening to my audio boot of [Title of Show] and now I find the cast recording so much funnier. The audio boot is just hilarious!

08:34 am - Hey, what a way to spend a day. My parents think fair warning is for chumps or something, seriously.
I just found out were going to some campground to spend the day/night with two other families.
Family 1 consists of:
Erica - Age 15
Ryan - Age 12
Julie - Age 12
Family 2 consists of:
Becca - Age 16
Erin - Age 8
Megan - Age 11
Now I'm like 100% certain I've already wrote about these families in some other post. Hopefully kindly.
Now if you look at the ages, you'll notice how inconvenienced I am. Becca is the only one who's my age, and Erica is a year younger. I mean there's nothing wrong with one year, but I have no guys to hang out with.
If I remember correctly, last time all our families had to do something together I ended up hanging out with Erica the first hour, and then when Erica found Becca I decided to leave and play frisbee with Ryan.
If I don't know someone very well, I can deal with talking or hanging out with them alone, but when they come in twos that just throws me off.
I'm leaving right now, and won't be back for approx. 30 hours. I swear to god if cool stuff happens well I'm gone I'll be mad. :O
At least I have my ipod and books to keep me company the car ride over, because a conversation with my parents this early in the day could kill me. Current Music: Shock To The System - Feeling Electric (2002)

08:10 pm - I'm Back, whoo. Ok, I just got back from Boston about an hour ago, so I'm very very tired. Still, for some reason I think having a hectic schedule is cool, so I'm going out to the movies in a few minutes.
I promise I'll write some crazy post that could pass as a fucking book if I'm lucky.

08:34 pm - ByeBye My family is heading to Boston earlier then expected, so we're leaving tomorrow at noon. I'm sort of excited because I have a chance to give away my lame Bon Jovi concert ticket and go to so Irish witch burning cemetery that's supposed to be like the evil center of the world. Now I'm not really a believer in this stuff, but when I heard that it was one of the scariest tours of a cemetery ever, I knew I had to go. Especially because my mind had like one million pranks for me to do at the cemetery, and scaring one of my friends silly would be awesome.
Hmmm...do I have any random tid bits of information to share with anyone? YES! My soccer team won it's first game today (Against our superior team too!)and it was very awesome. I think it was my best game ever too. Every pass was precise, every slide tackle was deadly, and every challenge was conquered!
It seems like overreacting to this win, but remember this.... This team beat a team 13-0, and the team they beat, beat us 8-0. Actually they clobbered every team that clobbered us. So when we heard we were playing them today we were less than optimistic.
Another thing that made this game spectacular was that we only had 11 players show up for our team. That means we had 90 minutes of soccer with no subs except a crappy 5 minute half-time break.
By the end of the game, I did feel sick to my stomach, bruised, and sore just about everywhere. Still it was worth it just to know we earned this win.
I'll probably be around tonight, and possibly tomorrow morning. But I thought I'd make a little goodbye post anyway.
See ya on Sunday. =)

12:03 am - Good Times II Since I've started to notice that in most of my posts, I tend to make no sense when I try to go in detail. I've sort of decided that all my long posts from now on are going in point form because that's way easier.
*Continues with Part II*
- We Got dropped off at the outdoor activity center. - We spotted a driving range, and decided to buy a few buckets of balls to hit. - I went to the little hut in the middle of the outdoor center to pay for our balls. - I couldn't help but notice that the cashier girl was very very cute. - I was so...distracted that I tried to pay for $16 dollars worth of balls with a loonie. - Very very cute girl smiled, laughed and told me I still owed her $15 dollars. - I was embarrassed, but glad that I got a laugh out of very very cute girl. - Then I realized she was laughing at my stupidity, and I hung my head down and left. - Since I've never really played golf, I had no idea how to drive and ended up wasting 45 balls. (I didn't even get some past the 30 yard line.) - After we all finished at the driving range. (It took me 40 minutes to hit 45 balls because I missed the ball 4 out of 5 swings.) We decided to go pay for some mini golf

02:56 am - Good Times I This is pretty long, and it's not even all of it yet. More like a Part 1 or something.
I started this entry at midnight and it stretched over the course of two hours, so I'm way too tired to finish it all now and will continue tomorrow.
This was the longest day of doing stuff that I was a part of so far this summer, and it was tres tres bon.
Today started out really, really awesome. I woke up at a good time and was all set to go before Colin even arrived. I didn't know who was really going until I got into the car, and was surprised to see my friend Pat and Andrew..along with Colin of course. The car ride up was sort of meh but it started to get better when everyone listened to my soccer analogy for our team. This was way cool because first of all, no one ever listens to my soccer analogies, and even if they didn't want to there was no place for them to run.
I think the best part of the car ride was when I put in my "Songs for a New World" CD and everyone in the car actually liked it. I thought this was cool because normally most of the people I know listen to My Chemical Romance or bands like that, and have mocked everything else I like broadway wise.
After an hour or so we finally got to Fredericton and we got dropped off at what I think was the the "Uptown" of Fredericton. We got out of the car, took our bags and said goodbye to Colin's dad and thanked him for the drive. From the second we got close to Fredericton, we were amazed at how sunny and hot out it was. One sunny day a week is rare in Saint John, but from what I've heard, sunny days are as common as stupid people in Fredericton.
We checked the time and it was around 9:30AM...giving us around 3 hours to kill before we had to go to our next little destination on this trip of fun. I was sort of the path leader for when we were walking around the city so I got to pick all our stops and what paths to take. We got to this little strip-mall thing about ten minutes from where we were dropped off, and decided to check out the stores inside.
This next part shows how much I know about Starbucks...
We were walking through the strip-mall and I saw a sign about 70 meters away and almost freaked out because I could've sworn it was a starbucks sign.
This is what the store's sign looked like. This is a Starbucks sign.

HUGE DIFFERENCE! I was so surprised when I finally got close enough to read what was on the sign. I mean the signs look nothing alike besides both being circular. We left the strip-mall and after half an hour of roaming we finally stumbled across a McDonald's in the middle of nowhere. We went in, and I was the only one who didn't order anything. Mostly because they were still serving breakfast at the time and I'd already eaten breakfast before we left. The only money I brought for the trip was a 50 dollar bill, and I saw didn't want to break it on a snack.
We got bored of walking after a little while so we decided to take a break on the curb in the middle of the Fredericton Square (I'm guessing on location). We were getting pretty bored and the only sort of entertainment we had, was watching our friend Andrew have staring contests with the passengers of the vehicles driving by. He even tried to stare down some biker dudes who were passing bye, and they looked at him so funny that I just burst out into a fit of giggles. MANLY laughing sounds.
We were almost getting ready to leave, when this coke delivery truck pulled up to the curb about 10 feet away from us totally blocking off this little alleyway. The coke guy got out of the truck and started unpacking the coke from the back of the truck. He noticed we were watching him, and before he left, he yelled over to us that if we stole any coke from of his truck he'd have us punished accordingly. Once he went inside the store, we all started laughing at what he'd told us and decided to try to mess with his head a little.
First we stood up and tried to see what type of coke he had in there. It was diet so we went to the store across the street and bought one of those 8 bottles of diet coke containers, which was definitely worth me breaking my 50 for. Then we went back to our spot near his truck and opened up the coke container. Then we each took out a coke, left the container in the middle of two of us and started to slowly drink our pop while waiting for the guy to get back.
Now, we didn't do really do anything else to make it look like we stole coke after we'd bought the container and started drinking it. In fact, we weren't even going to look at him when he came back or start snickering when he checked the back of the truck. We were all looking at the cars go by when he came over to talk to us. First he just asked what we were doing, and we told him we were just enjoying the sun on a nice day like this. Then he commented on how hot it was outside, and how pop would be really refreshing. I pointed at our container of pop and said "Yeah, it is." Then I asked if he wanted one. He said "No, I've got plenty back at the truck" then stupidly Colin started fake laughing and said " Are you sure about that man?" while pointing at our container. The coke guy then said "I knew it!" and ran back to his truck probably to call someone or something. But when he passed the back of the truck, he luckily noticed there were still 5 perfect stacks of 7 of containers piled up in his truck. He then came back to us, told us to find something else to do besides being a pain in the ass and left.
I really did feel bad, and looking back now.....that was really stupid and not very funny, but it proved to waste an hour of our day so I included it in the post.
With about 30 minutes till we were going to ger picked up, we decided to go inside a Tim Horton's because I was in need of my daily ice cap(s). I'm the only one ordering so my friends just sat down at a booth in the corner and played with the straws. While I was looking around the store, I noticed a sign hanging from the ceiling on the left hand side of the store that had an advertisiment for the new Espresso Ice Cap! When I saw the sign, I knew I must try it in the largest size I could get. I left the store with my friends who were thinking an extra large Espresso(OMFG) Ice Cap was too much for me. Well I sure showed them by finishing it in like 4 minutes.
Colin's dad picked us up around noon and dropped us off at this cool outdoor activity center for us to have fun at for a few hours well he went to another business meeting somewhere in Fredericton.
It's almost 3 am now, so excuse me as I go to sleep for 5 hours before being awoken.

08:23 am - Visit to Fredericton I haven't slept in past 8am for a week now. It's sorta cool having more of the day to endure, but fuck, I'm so tired. I'm the kind of person who can't fall asleep without like two hours of reading and listening to music. It's hard to do both at the same time, so I end up concentrating on reading and dragging my music listening for an extra hour.
I get to bed around 3:30-4am, heaven knows when I actually fall asleep.
So I got up at 7:50 and took a shower, which lasted twenty minutes. That's no good when originally at 7:50 you only had 40 minutes to get ready. So I rushed my breakfast and brushed my teeth very fast just so I'd have time to write this thing.
Anyways, today my friends and I are heading to Fredericton for the beach and some mini-golf. It works out perfect because Colin's dad is going to a business meeting up there, so we can all get drives with him and just ditch him during the meeting. I'm not too,too excited about the minigolf/beach thing because I've been there and done that this summer....but I can't wait to stop at the Fredericton market. They sell samosis(sp?) there and they are just godly.
I'd write more if I didn't have to leave at this exact second. See ya's!

02:43 pm - Trip I just found out my my family is going to Boston July 20 something to July 20 something else, and we're seeing Bon Jovi in concert. I need to think of some cool things to do well I'm in Boston. Maybe even just singing to random people or something.
I also heard that the family we're going with is leaving Boston midway through or stay and going to New York. I'm not sure how I'll sneak into their luggage and go with them, but I'll try to think of something. Even if my family decided to go to, convincing them to see a show would be much to hard. My parents aren't very fond of musical thatre, and one time I tried to share some Bare songs with them in the car and I got a serious talk after the ride where they asked me if I was gay. =/
We're also going to the Six flags in Springfield, so that should be super aweosme to because they have an awesome water park. =)

10:28 am - Ughs Life has been pretty crap so far this summer. Besides the occasional camp out or picnic, we haven't seen the sun much all summer.
It also seems like summer's going by way to fast! It feels like I've been out of school for a week and it's been about month. A month of rain and gray skies. I mean we've even played all but one soccer game in thick fog and rain.
I went to see Superman Returns and PotC2 a few days ago. I liked both the movies but Superman seemed pretty cheesy........ and PotC2 was just PotC2. It didn't go above my expectations or below them. It really did nothing for me.
Also, my parents officially suck at telling me things. I do not like waking up at 9AM to take a shower and seeing one 10 year old girl and her 11 year old sister waiting in my kitchen for me to wake up because I'm supposed to babysit them.
Besides no one telling me about this, I was also basically naked when I went out there and that's no fun. I mean I was just trying to make it to the shower and didn't expect anyone to be there. =/
Awkwardness aside. I did recognize who they were and I've been around them when our parents got together every few months. I told them I'd take a shower and then deal with the whole babysitting thing.
We went outside and tried to play a huge assortment of sports before both of them gave up and decided it would be much more fun to jump on me. It sure wasn't. I kept them occupied for a good 4-5 hours and was really glad when their mom got back and gave me my WHOLE 7 DOLLARS. She said that since we were all good friends she didn't feel like paying me a lot would be right. Honestly though, I was way to tired to care about my money at all and just accepted it.
Now, and by now I mean in 15 minutes, I'm heading to the beach with them to babysit again well our moms tan themselves.
I'm totally to tired right to type the rest.

July 2nd, 2006
07:58 pm Haven't posted much because my mom made this new rule, where if I don't put away my laundry within three hours of it being put in my room, I lose my computer for 3 days. =/
So my team played our soccer game against Hampton and it had to be one of the worst games I've ever seen in my life. I don't mean skill wise either. This had to be the dirtiest, unfair and roughest games I've ever had to play.
The referee was from Hampton and couldn't be a year older than me. He was friends with a lot of people on the Hampton team and made so many bad calls that game against my team. We almost just stopped playing until he started calling a fairer game.
The players themselves were very country-ish and talked worse than some rednecks. Not that this is exactly a problem, but their team was so rough that three of our players couldn't play the second half because of injuries and a lot of players including me were limping the rest of the game.
One thing I found funny was when one of their players charged our goalie and ran into him with his fist sticking out in front of him, and then tried to get the goalie kicked out of the game for hurting his hand. I was pushed from behind and shoulder checked from the side so many times when I had the ball, I could barely feel my body the rest of the game.
I think the last straw was when one of their players elbowed one of our players in the head, knocked him down and had him bleeding. The player did this with about 1 minute left in the game, when they were up by 4 already and we were in our own end. The player was only given a yellow card for this which caused boo's by a lot of parents and had the president of our soccer foundation (Who was also the father of the player who got hit) come out on the field and scream at the referee for a good three minutes.
I mentioned to some of my friends that the person that hit our player in the head looked exactly like the guy who got 2 other yellow cards that game, and they all agreed with me that it was the same person. The coach on the other team was confronted with this and apparently the players had been switching jersey numbers so that the same guy could keep hitting people without the referee marking his number down with two yellow cards. The only reason this worked is because as I said at the beginning, they all looked very country-ish and they all looked the same.
There were a few fights that almost broke out after the game ended but for the most part our team kept our cool. We all lined up to shake hands and I think the best thing ever was when my friend Ryan did that "Sike!" handshake thing with all the players(You know, the one where you stick out your hand and then pull back and slick your hair) and then even did it to the coach =P.
The coach took this as a huge offense and tried to get our team in trouble for bad handshaking when his team had to be the dirtiest and most unfair team in the city.
That was my Thursday, basically.
Now onto Friday....
My parents had planned to have our family go up to a camp with two other families and spend the weekend there. I've been to the camp before and it's a pretty nice place, and the lake is really nice to go swimming in. The only thing I didn't like about the camping idea was one of the families that were going up. They have 4 girls, 8,8,10 and 15 years old.
The younger girls are adorable.
So I kind of half dreaded/anticipated this trip all Thursday night and was half dissapointed/relieved when it rained the next day really bad and we decided to find a new date for the trip.
The weather cleared up by noon so everyone kind of regretted not going, but then we decided to just have a little camp out at Rebecca's. This wouldn't have been too bad if I didn't find out that most of the kids would be sleeping in a tent together. I never mentioned the third family, but they have a 11 year old boy, 11 year old girl and a 14 year old girl. Then when my parents said that the three older kids would be sleeping in a tent together out back, I then realized how awkward it would be. =/
I headed down to Rebecca's house around 5 PM for the barbecue/campfire and then tenting thing. Everyone ate supper together and we decided to make our own little soccer team and go play a game. To make things easier, her is a little chart with names of relevance:
Erica - 14 year old girl Becca - 15 year old girl Ryan - 11 year old boy Julie - 11 Year old girl
So Ryan and I headed down to his house(Erica's his sister) to get Erica and a soccer ball so we can play. Half way there Ryan saw my stupid little brother on his motorized scooter and started chasing after him leaving me alone on my little journey.
I get to Erica's house, and am shocked because I forgot how pretty she was(She's going to make someone happy). We started talking about our soccer team on the way back to Becca's house and I mentioned the Hampton thing and she thought that was just horrible too. So we get back to Becca's house and I'm confronted with Erica's little sister Julie.
I wasn't paying her much attention because I was too busy counting people to see how big a team would be for our soccer match and she asked "Are you and Erica going out?" since she was little, I thought she meant like 'just going somewhere' because we were just about to head to the soccer field so I said yes. Erica didn't say anything about it, and Julie just said ok, so I didn't realize what I said until about halfway to the soccer field and then I apologized to Erica for saying that. x.x
We played soccer for a whole six minutes before people either got bored our started complaining about the heat. So we gave up on that idea and went back to Becca's house. Becca had flown under the radar for quite awhile and been in her room the whole time listening to some crappy generic rock band. Her mother asked Erica to get Becca so I decided to go do something else for awhile and eventually ended up playing frisbee with Ryan.
I forgot how much I love frisbee! It took me about two throws to get my perfect lovely throw back, but once I did it was very fun. The kid I was playing with was actually quite good too. We started to try and show off and to crazy catches and stuff. I started off with the through the legs and spinning it off my fingers. Ten I moved onto matrix style catching and handstand feet catches. I tried a stupid backwards flip catch but I can't do flips and I hurt my neck for awhile.
While I was playing frisbee, Erica and Becca came out of the house and said they were heading out to Erica's house and that no one was home there, but I decided frisbee was better at the time and kept doing that.
Erica's little sister Julie is a very odd little girl. She's a very hug happy person and sometimes five hugs a minute should be enough for someone. She's always hugging me or making me piggy back her. I guess it's not really that odd but sometimes she picks bad times for the piggybacks.
Around like 9 PM Erica and Becca come back with two new friends and ask if I want to go watch tv at her house, they didn't come back to ask me that more likely they came back for the yummy cake. They did ask me though and once again I said no. The campfire was starting anyway and I wanted some smores and spider dogs.
At 9:30 there were six of us in the downstairs family room, me being the oldest by about 3 years 7 months >_>.
We decide to watch Spy Kids 3 and we all decide to sit down, I picked the chair so I wouldn't have to sit by Julie and be bugged the whole movie, but apparently when I sat on the one person the chair, that meant that Julie was supposed to jump on my lap and sit there the whole movie. I made up an excuse about getting some popcorn for us and when I came back downstairs I then sat in between Ryan and another girl. Then Julie came over and sat in my lap again except in the backward sitting thing where your facing the person. I pretended I thought it was a game and I picked her up and sat her down somewhere else and ran back to my seat. Then she had the idea of me sitting on her lap 'Oh Fun!'. She had to be like 60 pounds so I found that funny and told her no. Somewhere in the middle of the movie I somehow got her just sitting beside me which was fine.
They all got bored around 10:15 and decided to play Truth or Dare. I wasn't playing (Of Course) but hearing some of things these kids said scared me. Luckily because I had plans in the morning the whole camping thing didn't happen, so at around 10:30 I went over to Becca's parents, thanked them for everything and walked home.

01:19 pm - Tired I got to sleep around 4 AM last night, and wasn't that excited to be woken up by my mother at 6 AM so I could bring my laundry to the washer. I couldn't fall back asleep after that so I kind of just laid there resting my leg.
We had a soccer practice Tuesday night which was I nice reminder that my right leg still hurts like hell from me over working it on Saturday. I could barely run on it and it still hurts now, but hopefully if I just rest it before the game it should be fine.
We have a game in 6 hours down in Hampton, but this might be our one chance to win a game! The other AA Saint John played them last week and creamed the 9-0. We lost 2-4, to a team that the AA team beat 3-2. So using my crappy math skills, if the AA team beat hampton 9-0 we should win 8-2, or 6-0? Meh, I know that can't be right and math clearly doesn't help predict soccer match scores but still.
The AA team was also nice enough to list some of Hampton's good players and how they normally work the ball up the field through the middle. Not surprised they if that's all they do. I did hear they have two really fast forwards who jet down the sides of the field and wait for the crossovers.
I really, really do think we can win this game if we get a good turn out for people showing up for this game on our team. 13+ is a good amount but anything below will suck because I enjoy my short little sub breaks and sometimes I need them. I took a ball to the crotch twice in a game and I couldn't even sub off. I don't wear cups because they are very uncomfortable and a bitch to run in.
I can't think of anything else to say really, I'm still pretty tired so I'm just going to rest for the game. x.x

06:16 pm - Movies Well....I just got back from the cinema. We went to see X-Men 3 and it was actually quite good. It's been raining the past 3 days straight so the cinemas were packed. As usual me and my friends sat way up near the top because sometimes watching people at the movies can be more enjoyable then the movie itself. This proved to be true on this occasion because if you looked way down front row, you could see some very obvious blow job action going on. They were escorted out of the theater near the middle of the movie, thus ruining our fun.
I've always wondered why people decide to have sex at the movies. It's probably just some voyeur thing I guess.
Well anyways, I'm just uploading some stuff for people I owe things too and that's about it for now. Current Mood: peaceful
